KPV 10 mg — Lyophilized Vial 10 mg · 1 vial
For laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use.
What is KPV?
KPV is the three-amino-acid sequence Lys-Pro-Val, corresponding to the end of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. It is studied in inflammatory signaling and intestinal epithelial biology.
Biological activity
Experimental work has examined uptake by the peptide transporter PepT1 and effects on inflammatory pathways, including NF-kappaB-associated responses. The mechanism under study concerns how a short peptide changes cellular signaling during inflammation.
Purpose and areas of study
Researchers use KPV in cell-based and animal intestinal-inflammation models to investigate epithelial responses and inflammatory mediator activity. Its research purpose is pathway analysis, not a general claim of gut healing.
Evidence context
The cited intestinal-inflammation evidence is preclinical and does not establish treatment of human gastrointestinal disease.
Product presentation
One lyophilized vial. Labeled content: 10 mg.
