BPC-157 10 mg — Lyophilized Vial 10 mg · 1 vial
For laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use.
What is BPC-157?
BPC-157 is a synthetic peptide containing 15 amino acids. It is investigated in models of tissue injury and repair, particularly tendon and connective-tissue biology.
Biological activity
Experiments using rat tendon tissue and tendon-derived cells examined cell migration, survival and tendon outgrowth. Other cell experiments reported increased growth-hormone-receptor expression. These are proposed repair-related pathways rather than proof of a fully established mechanism in humans.
Purpose and areas of study
Researchers use BPC-157 to study how cells respond to tissue damage, move into injured areas and participate in tendon repair. The practical research question is whether exposure changes the biological steps involved in rebuilding injured tissue.
Evidence context
The cited tendon studies are preclinical. Their findings do not establish an effective treatment for human injury.
