Copper Tripeptide-1 50 mg — Lyophilized Vial 50 mg · 1 vial
For laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use.
What is Copper Tripeptide-1?
GHK-Cu is a complex of copper and the three-amino-acid peptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine. It is studied in skin and connective-tissue biology, particularly how cells build and reorganize the extracellular matrix that supports tissue structure.
Biological activity
In fibroblast cultures, GHK-Cu has stimulated collagen production. Animal wound models have also examined connective-tissue accumulation and remodeling. These findings suggest biological activity in repair-associated processes; they do not establish a single universal mechanism for every formulation or tissue.
Purpose and areas of study
Researchers use GHK-Cu to examine collagen synthesis, fibroblast responses and extracellular-matrix remodeling. In plain language, the question is how this copper-peptide complex changes the processes through which damaged tissue rebuilds its structural framework.
Evidence context
The cited studies use cultured cells and animal repair models; they do not establish clinical effects of this vial or equivalence between topical and injectable presentations.
