AOD-9604 5 mg — Lyophilized Vial 5 mg · 1 vial
For laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use.
What is AOD-9604?
AOD-9604 is a synthetic peptide based on a region near the end of human growth hormone. It was developed to investigate whether a fragment could influence fat metabolism without reproducing all the actions of intact growth hormone.
Biological activity
Animal experiments have examined effects on lipolysis, the breakdown of stored fat, and related metabolic processes. Being derived from growth hormone does not make AOD-9604 equivalent to HGH or establish that it raises growth-hormone levels.
Purpose and areas of study
Its research focus is adipose-tissue metabolism: whether the fragment changes how fat is mobilized or stored in experimental models. Studies in obese Zucker rats provide an example of this preclinical work.
Evidence context
The cited metabolic findings come from animal experiments and do not establish meaningful weight loss in people.
Product presentation
